Online learning is gradually becoming an important part of modern education. It allows students to study anytime through the internet, and it makes learning more flexible and open to many people. However, online learning also faces many challenges. Some students lack motivation to learn and have difficulty concentrating.Furthermore, many learners do not have equal access to quality technology or stable internet connections. As a result, the application of artificial intelligence in online classrooms has raised questions about fairness and impartiality. These challenges impact students and teachers, prompting us to consider how to create better, more inclusive online education in the future.

To understand the importance of these issues, we can explore them from both practical experience and researchers’ findings.

Teachers and students around the world face similar struggles with online learning. In a video titled ā€œThe 6 Biggest Challenges of Online Learningā€ the blogger discusses common issues such as technical glitches, low student attendance, and insufficient classroom interaction. These issues make students feel lonely and can also cause teachers to lose their motivation to teach.

At the same time, research also highlights the emotional side of online education. Dwedar (2022) reviewed Veletsianos’s book Learning Online: The Student Experience, which shows that students need emotional connection and social support as much as they need digital tools. She argues that education must focus on human connection, not only technology. Teachers’ experience and academic research remind us that online learning must remain humane, equitable, and meaningful in order to truly help all learners.

In conclusion, understanding these challenges helps us improve online learning. To be morespecific, teachers can use short games, live discussions, or group work to make classes more interactive. Schools should support students who lack good internet or devices to keep learning fair. As a student, I will actively participate in discussions and help others build closer connections.. It is also important to use AI tools wisely and stay honest when learning. In the future, I hope online learning will be not only flexible and convenient but also full of care and human connection.
